Tizen OS Port on Samsung Wave I
Good news for all of you guys..
We know that Samsung is working hard on its new OS TIZEN which is really the upcoming hot OS for smartphones. Tizen provides a flexible environment for application developers, based on jQuery and jQuery Mobile. The software development kit (SDK) allows developers to use HTML5 and related web technologies to write applications that run across multiple device segments.
Samsung has already released the source code of Tizen and many developers have started working on it to develop the applications. And the best thing is you can run Android Apps on Tizen.
Now coming to the good news that I want to share with you is – XDA-Developer astronfestmon has already started to port the Tizen on Samsung Wave I S8500. As of now it is in very early phase but yes it seems to be a good news for Samsung Wave I owners. Soon they would be able to enjoy the power of Tizen OS on their phones.
Wave I owners are already enjoying Android Jelly Bean and ICS on their phones (with some limitations like GSM does not work).
We hope that unlike Android, Tizen will be port completely with GSM and Modem working.
